Draft for review. This text has not yet been reviewed against the laws of Kenya, Ghana or Côte d'Ivoire and should be checked by a qualified professional before final publication.

1.Introduction and scope

This Privacy Policy explains how AMICI handles information when you browse this website and request quotations for medical equipment through our branches AMIK (Kenya), AMIG (Ghana) and AMICI (Côte d'Ivoire). It applies to this website and to inquiries started from it.

2.Information you provide

When you submit an inquiry, we collect the details you enter:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Organization or institution (optional)
  • Country and city
  • Delivery address
  • Order notes (optional)
  • Products selected, quantities and your chosen branch
  • The inquiry reference generated for your request

3.Product inquiries and quotation requests

Your inquiry is stored so that the AMICI branch you selected can review it and prepare a quotation. Submitting an inquiry does not create a purchase or take any payment.

4.How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your inquiry, prepare quotations, confirm availability and delivery arrangements, and communicate with you about your request. We do not sell your information.

5.WhatsApp communications and branch sharing

After submitting, you may choose to open WhatsApp with a pre-filled message containing your inquiry details. WhatsApp is a third-party service operated independently of AMICI; messages you send through it are subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy, and AMICI does not control how WhatsApp processes them.

Your inquiry is shared with the AMICI branch you select so its team can reply.

6.Service providers and third-party platforms

The website is hosted and its inquiry data stored using third-party cloud infrastructure providers acting on our behalf. Staff sign-in may use Google sign-in. Product images and fonts may be loaded from third-party servers.

7.Cookies and browser storage

The website stores your selected branch in your browser's local storage so they persist between visits. Signed-in staff sessions are also kept in browser storage. We do not use advertising cookies. [To confirm before publication: whether any analytics tool is added.]

8.Data protection and access restrictions

Inquiry records are not publicly accessible. Only authorized AMICI staff who sign in can view them, and branch staff can only view inquiries for their own branch.

9.Data retention and deletion

We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to handle your request and our related business obligations. [Retention period to be confirmed by AMICI before publication.] You may ask us to delete your information, subject to legal requirements.

10.Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to certain uses. To make a request, contact your AMICI branch using the details below.

11.International data transfers

Because AMICI operates in several countries and uses cloud service providers, your information may be processed outside your country of residence. [Hosting locations and transfer safeguards to be confirmed before publication.]

12.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page.

13.Contact us about privacy

You can reach AMICI through the branch telephone and WhatsApp numbers listed in the Contact Us section of the website footer: AMIK (Kenya), AMIG (Ghana) and AMICI (Côte d'Ivoire).
